Subject: [geGIS] Geomajas technical IRC meeting today at 14h CET

Hello everyone,

I would like to inform/remind you all of the second Geomajas IRC 
meeting, which will be held today at 14h CET (GMT+2).

The topics I would like to handle are:

    * Implementation of rendering strategies. Could we assign multiple
      rendering strategies to a single vector layer? For example, when a
      very complex layer is zoomed out and the browser is unable to
      handle all the vector data, could we automatically switch to
      rasters in such cases? Where would these rasters come from? etc.
    * Implementation of Lazy Feature Loading. Often, not all features
      with their attributes and complex geometries are actually
      necessary on the client. Perhaps we could save some memory (and
      increase speed) by using a Lazy Feature Loading principle.
    * Addition of the Portugese and Spanish languages to Geomajas. Plus
      the extension of what can be configured through internationalisation.

* to connect to a server, type in the status window: /server
