Step 1: JAVA JRE
As geGIS is written with Java technology you need a recent Java JRE (run-time environment). For this we refer to the website of sun where this run-time environment is available: J2SE(TM) Runtime Environment 5.0.
The installation of the Java JRE is very easy, just follow the steps below:
Double click on the JRE setup file to start the installation.
Click on "accept" to continue.
Click on "finish".
